RMA Replacement Died 05/08/2014

Pros:

1600 Watts and Gold Certified

Cons:

I did not like that this unit does not have a power switch, other than that I thought the specs on this were incredibly competitive, but with my unit, I have yet to be able really experience that as I have had two total PSU failures.causing me not to have a good experience in trying to work with it.

My first unit died within the first few days of usage, and I went through the RMA and my replacement just died after a week and a half of operation.

Any downtime on systems without redundant power supplies is always painful, and my first RMA support response took 3 days to to receive a response. In contrast my 2nd RMA request took only 2 hour to receive a response. I think they actually repaired the unit that I had sent them as there was a "repaired" sticker on it. Ground shipping both ways, has caused downtime for me.

Overall Review:

This is the only PSU I have seen without a toggle power switch
