Overall Review:

Yes, its loud, but in Louisiana, you can't have a 'quiet' gaming pc unless you live in a tiny airconditioned apartment or have the funds for serious watercooling. If you use this as a cpu fan as I do, and have a good set of 2.1 or better speakers, something with a nice sub, you'll hear your games and movies fine over this. Now if you tried using them to replace all your case fans as well, you'd have a problem, but as a single fan for cpu heatsink, you get used to the noise. plus it moves enough air to cool a richland 6800k with a mild overclock and keep it under 50c at full load in the sweltering Louisiana summer.
this is in a microatx tower, with a simple 92mm heatsink, and three cheapie case fans. Te only hard part is mounting it, since most heatsinks dont have screws for 38mm fans, but this is solved by using shorter screws through the bottom holes, and a screwdriver that is skinny enough to go through the upper holes. put a little loctite on the threads first, then install, and finally reattach the fan guard with its included screws, and you're good to go.
