Overall Review:
I have had 6 of these in my machine for 2+ years now, with no noticed or reported read/write issues. I've used various versions of debian linux: ubuntu 12.04...xubuntu 14.04. Some are partitioned into multiple drives (eg boot,swap,root) and some are single partitioned (ext3/4).
