Great card 11/20/2014
This review is from: ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support G-SYNC Support Video Card STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5
Pros:
Blows my 7870 out of the water. Games that were just squeaking by with the 7870 at 20-30 fps (such as a heavily modded games like Skyrim or GTA4) just melt away at 60+ fps. I really like the silent fan feature, and my case has enough ventilation the fans rarely even spin up.
Cons:
HUGE. Like, really really huge. Check the specs and make sure your case has the room.
Overall Review:
It should be noted I upgraded from a 965BE cpu and 7870 gpu to a 4690k cpu and this 970 gpu, so the gains I noticed in games were surely helped along by the new cpu as well.
I am gearing up for the Witcher 3 release in Feb 2015. I'm more than confident this card will be ready.
