After 10 months, dead 11/20/2014
This review is from: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros:
When it worked, it was stable and ran great.
Cons:
To the day, 10 months after I bought it, it stopped posting, no lights, nothing, just stone cold dead.
Overall Review:
I am thinking about dropping Asrock altogether and switching to something more reliable, this is my 3rd board to go dead or have a failure since I started buying them 5+ years ago.
Manufacturer Response:
Dear AsRock Customer
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. AsRock mainboards are fully tested to assure that they're working before shipped. Unfortunately, due to nature of electronic product, it can happen. However, pre-trouble shooting can be done by below steps; remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. You can place the mainboard on empty mainboard box, check the CPU socket pins are bent or missing then reseat the CPU to the CPU socket as well, inserts 1 memory module only to A1 slot, clear CMOS and try again. In some cases, power supply causes the system to instability or even no post due to not providing enough power. There’s a good chance to swap a power supply to test. If still having same issues please contact our Tech Support at 909-590-8308. We can assist you shortly.
Thank you
