Works in Ubuntu 14.04LTS 02/13/2015
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros:
Gigabit Ethernet, Plenty of USB Ports, Fits in nicely, came with Rev 4 (not a old rev 1 or 2), Bios was easy to navigate.
What little Issues I had were easily resolved with little to no effort.
has Tons of USB Ports for the front of the case to use.
Cons:
In Linux:
1. USB 3.0 Ports didn't work and the only 2 USB 2.0 ports did. Turning on IOMMU in Bios worked just fine to fix this issue
2. Secure Boot Blocked Ubuntu Install, agian in bios Disabled Secure Boot & Enabled Legacy Support
3. Network Card didn't work after install (Kept disconnecting & reconnecting) Went to Gigabytes website, and downloaded the LINUX Native drivers. Ran the SH Script it came with and BOOM everything was fixed :)
