Died after six months 02/28/2015
This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card
Pros:
great size and connections. It was just what I needed for my trading PC. DVi, Displayport are what I needed for the monitors I use. Did not use the hdmi connection
Cons:
Died on me after six months. One day the PC was just dead and would not power on or boot up with the card installed. Originally thought it was ny PSU, but when I transferred the card to another PC with known good PSU and it did the same thing, well then I knew it was the video card.
Overall Review:
Also, I don't know which is correct,. But, in the description of the GTX750Ti sc here on Newegg it says that only a 300+ watt psu is needed. So I bought Seagate 550w Gseries and figured it was good to go. Later when using the Newegg PSU calculator it says I need a 850watt psu to use this card. So I don't know if this had anything to do with why the card died so soon or not. Either way it worked for 6 months with the 550w psu and then died. Threw away the box after a few months so probably will not bother with RMA or warranty. I just won't buy EVGA video cards again. I had this same experience in the past when my EVGA 8800 GT died on me after only about six months.
