UASP? 03/20/2015
This review is from: SEDNA - PCI Express USB 3.0 4 Port ( 2E + 2I ( 20 Pin ) ) adapter card supports Win 8 UASP, with Floppy Power connector, NEC 720201 chipset
Pros:
The card is reasonably fast. Item arrived in nine days.
Cons:
I was hoping for a faster card due to the UASP.
Overall Review:
Perhaps the Sandisk Extreme flash drive and the Seagate 1 TB, 2-1/2" external platter drive in a USB 3 enclosure are not compatible with UASP. My other card is Sednas SY-PEX20140 (Etron drivers) and it peaked during file transfer to the Seagate drive at 112MBs vs the NEC chipset card's peak transfer speed of 85MBs. Both cards transferred files to the Sandisk Extreme flash drive at roughly 50MBs. My computer is an AMD socket AM2+, sata 3Gbs, Win7 64 with 4 gigs of 1066 memory and a Phenom II x4 955. I bought this card out of curiosity and, well, now I know.
