Good Motherboard. Unable to Overclock.

Pros:
It was a great deal. Bought this combo with a G3258 processor. Performance is pretty good. The motherboard has great options on it. I really liked the extra SATA ports, the USB 3.0. I run an SSD and my WEI score jumped off the charts in comparison to my old board.
Cons:
So far I'm not able to overclock my G3258. I don't know if this a problem with the board, the processor or both. I've researched the overclocking of this chip and the information is there but not helpful. The MSI website even implies there is a special overclocking bios? So is the bios different from the bios on the Motherboard home page? The information just seems messy to me. I haven't tried the overclocking BIOS that I found on the Overclocking web page. I'm kind of nervous about loading it. I tried using the overclock button and manually in the bios. Just gives me a failure and reverts me back. Even increasing the multiplier by 1x fails.
Overall Review:
I'm happy with the board but I'm pretty sure I'm going to probably part ways with the CPU in favor of an i3 or i5 before year end.
