This review is from: TP-Link Archer C2 Wireless Wi-Fi Dual Band Internet Router
Pros:
Both 2.4GHz & 5Ghz is becoming a standard in routers and things we connect with. This gives a few connectivity options that you control.
Guest networks with separate 2.4GHz & 5GHz and different available setting for a different password than your private one.
USB sharing port, WPS and a 2yr warranty.
There is a setup wizard and a styled designed into the nice black surface.
Cons:
No ability built in for wall hanging?
An updated Firmware was available for mine, but that's not necessarily a con.. the router works great. I always check with new equipment. You can read the list of what was updated and if it's not something that effects you, you don't have to do it. Optional, I like current.
Overall Review:
This is a lot of bang for the buck. I'm starting off that way because I have reviewed a few routers, and this one has a user interface that is user friendly and as complete as higher dollar ones. So, for the experienced user, you wont be disappointed and for the novice average user I think you'll be amazed at what you can do yourself, easily.
The radio range is perfect for an average home and great as an access router to expand your existing router. I did it in just a few settings. Get a longer LAN cable and distance from your existing router and help make weaker or dead spots have more signal. Working as the main router is easy as any other type use too.
I gave a little use time to also see if there would be a power issue.. I read reviews here. All I can say is any product can have a problem. I've been truly using TP-Link products for a long time and no problems. I believe this is a great choice and a no looser at the price. I ran a 25' Cat6 from my router to the next room (snaked thru the wall) to improve outback connectivity and by the pool. It's working great.
So much available through TP-Link support that you should find an answer to however you plan to use this. I looked and found what I needed. Also searching has answers. This is a recommend to buy.
