Overall Review:
I have been using this drive in my Asus Q501LA for over a year now with Windows 7 installed without issue. I never liked Windows 8 so I didn't even consider it. Well I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 and come to find out, this drive is not recognized by the installer. I've tried literally everything from formatting to BIOS settings. Nothing. Upon further research I found out that many other people with the same and different machines are experiencing the same thing. Thanks to crucial I cannot upgrade my OS. Bottom line: Do not buy a crucial SSD.
