Awesome Card! 08/16/2015
This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB AMP! Extreme, ZT-90505-10P
Pros:
Very fast and powerful with room to overclock it even more than it already is!
I owned 3 R9290Xs and decided to sell them due to the amount of noise and heat they generated. I am truly glad I did! This card is so quiet in comparison it's hard to believe.
The cooling fans don't even kick on till it reaches 60 degrees Celsius. I am running a 28" Samsung 4K monitor and am very happy with this card!
Cons:
It's huge, takes 3 expansion slots total so if you're looking at an SLI setup check your motherboard manual for slot spacing of SLI setup and choose your card wisely!
Overall Review:
I have never owned a Zotac product and decided to give them a try when EVGA couldn't seem to get the Hybrid or the Classified 980TI's in stock. This card is faster out of the box than both and is faster than the Kingpin version out of the box as well and has room to overclock and overvolt beyond what it has out of the box!
My current 3Dmark Fire Strike score of 22570 with 1 980ti running over 1500MHz core clock on a 3770K is better than 99% of all results with just 1 GPU!
Looks like I am a Zotac customer now and happy for it!
