Pros:
You can't deny the build quality on this chair, it was relatively easy to put together (as one person), and everything about it feels solid.
The product itself is really great, if you can justify the price.
Cons:
I felt it was time to 'splurge' a little on a product I would spend more of my day on, the computer chair.
How much does a build quality actually matter? I can NOT justify the price on it, I mildly regret the purchase, but I am left with a better perspective of what I want in a chair. Unless you're going purely for aesthetics, but who doesn't skimp on budget to look a little better?
Coming from an IKEA Markus chair that I got at nearly half the current discounted price of this DX racer chair, 8 hour sessions of sitting at a computer (with my regular standing breaks to keep the blood flowing) did not feel like it was improved in either posture or comfort ability.
Overall Review:
Despite my negative aspects, maybe this product just isn't for me. By all means, everyone should try out a 'racing' modeled chair, it might be cool for them, wasn't for me.
I am 5'6, with a thin frame at ~135lbs, following this, if I manage to pass this chair off and not lose too much money, I will probably opt for a lazyboy-like chair instead
