I use this primarily to maintain my Harley's AGM battery over the winter months. I installed the ring terminal connectors plugged in the Noco and turned my back on it. Some say it isn't the correct thing to do, all I can tell you is my bike is always ready to go and my friend that uses a trickle charger dried out his and destroyed it. I've used Noco for 2 winters this way with outstanding results, if anything my battery is in better condition after the winter by the Noco maintainance algorithm than prior to its use. I've also used it to charge up my work vans battery and various 6 volt equipment batteries at work with the same great results. Plan on purchasing a larger model for 24 volt use at work. I trust these chargers,it makes my nerpples stick out
