DEEPCOOL Gamer Storm CAPTAIN 240 CPU Liquid Cooler 04/13/2016
This review is from: DEEPCOOL Gamer Storm CAPTAIN 240 CPU Liquid Cooler AIO Water Cooling Ceramic Bearing Pump Visual Liquid Flow with Dual 120mm FDB PWM Fan Rubber Coating Deep Silent Support LGA 2011-v3
Pros:
worked great for about 6 months
allowed a good OC on 5930k up to 4.3 at 1.289vcore
Cons:
pump died, I get CPU fan error. and PC goes into thermal shutdown after 30 seconds.
just long enough to get into bios and watch the temps get near 96C .
tube coming from middle/light on the block itself gets too hot to touch which tells me the coolant is not flowing.
Overall Review:
pump failed after 6 months of solid use. PC almost on 24/7
I got my moneys worth, don't feel like going through a warranty process. but I may change my mind.
