Nice little adapter

Pros:
Setup: This product was not automatically installed in Windows 10, however, I popped the driver CD in and it installed the necessary drivers in only a few clicks. No extra bulky software, just simple drivers. This is very easy to install even with the need for a driver install.
Size: This adapter is very small so it does not protrude from the back of a PC very much and even plugged in a USB hub on a monitor is an option due to the small size.
Speed: I saw expected AC600 speeds. 5Ghz this connected at 433Mbps and at 2.4GHz 200Mbps. File transfers at 5GHz were anywhere in the 15-20MB/s range and 3-5MB/s on 2.4GHz. This was roughly 20ft through a floor.
Cons:
Really wish it supported at least AC1200.
Overall Review:
Tests were run with adapter in USB 3.0 and transfers through an AC1900 Linksys router to a Synology DS1515+ NAS.
Not really a con but for the price you can get a faster adapter or cheaper adapter with the same speed. The feature that could be very beneficial is the MU-MIMO support, but only with a supported router and other MU-MIMO adapters on you network. It will allow multiple devices to simultaneously communicate without impeding the speed of the others. However, to do this all of your devices need to support this technology. Otherwise, you won't see the benefit from this feature.
