This review is from: CORSAIR XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model CMX16GX3M4A1333C9
Pros:
I can split them into two sets of 8 g dual channel memory for another pc in case of emergency need. It will not last for ever.
Cons:
When those memory failed, they always failed intermittent not totally dead. At the beginning I already suspect the memory is no good because I saw some lines on my display. My motherboard has build in video function but using memory from dimm. i RUN THE MEMTEST86 for 2 days and it passed. The problem is sporadic. Finally it happened so often and I am able to swap those 4x4 g dimm with another 2x4g in another pc and then run the memtest86 in another pc with those 4x4 g dimm. It shows me they did not pass the test intermittent. I am going to contact Corsair for exchange because they have life time warranty. They gave me 4 years trouble free service then they are going downhill from there. Crosair was ok to honor their warranty.
