Most Favorable Review

extremely fast!!!

Seagate SV35.6 ST1000VX000 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Surveillance Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate SV35.6 ST1000VX000 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Surveillance Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: The absolute fastest single 7200 rpm hard drive i ahve ever seen, i get about 200 megabytes/s consecutive read/write on this and that is just simply amazing. It has a whopping 1 tb (may not be a lot for others, but plenty for me). its built solid, and it doesnt get all that hot

Cons: a little pricey, but if you wanted to get these speeds with that amount of size for the same price, you would have a hard time doing that.

Overall Review: this is just a wonderful product, even though it is optimized for video surveillance, this serves well as a primary os drive

WOW

Intel Core i3-3240 - Core i3 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 55W Intel HD Graphics 2500 Desktop Processor - BX80637i33240
Intel Core i3-3240 - Core i3 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 55W Intel HD Graphics 2500 Desktop Processor - BX80637i33240

Pros: 3.4 ghz is plenty. compares to my i5-3570k at stock speeds in single/double threaded applications considering same speed. great for moderate gaming without breaking the bank,

Cons: not unlocked (well duh), not a 16 core/32 threads :)

Overall Review: paired with a 60 dollar asrock board and some vulcan memory for an unbeatable combo at that price

powerful card for the price

HIS iCooler Radeon HD 7750 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card H775FS2G
HIS iCooler Radeon HD 7750 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card H775FS2G

Pros: 512 stream processors, really cheap for the performance. good for moderate gaming on medium/high settings. runs about 90-100 KH/s on scrypt mining

Cons: not a 7990, 780ti, and a 290x combined into one giant card for a fraction of the price

Overall Review: great budget build card, but the 7790 might be a better choice if you have a slightly larger budget.

EVGA 500 B1 100-B1-0500-KR 80+ BRONZE 500W Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: i haven't had this power supply for long but knowing that evga is a trusted company i would hope this lasts a while, its a decent amount of watts at a cheap price and its built sturdy.

Cons: not modular? not 9000 watts?

Overall Review: very good for a budget build, definitely recommended.

Pros: very nice case, not too shabby compared to my fractal design define r4 which i paid over 4 times the price for. i got this on sale for about 25 dollars after mail in rebate which i still have to send in actually

Cons: front led on fan is a bit bright? thats about it

Overall Review: perfect budget build item, do buy

Cons: none

Overall Review: havent tried overclocking yet, but i mean, unless you are running an amd apu, you probably dont need to overclock
