Pros: These stations are as advertised. They will simply allow you to access a standard Internal Sata HD without requiring an external enclosure.

Cons: I don't recommend hot swapping a powered on drive as these docking stations do not spin drives down, even after ejecting them in windows. I have had to RMA 3 drives in the last year as a result. Hot Swapping = drive failure.

Overall Review: It's a nice cheap alternative to an external enclosure, and you won't get stuck with a hard drive you can't use just because the usb port comes loose in an enclosure.

Pros: My 1st SSD so my expectations were low. It's very fast and works like SSD is supposed. Has easy installation. I was able to install WIN 7 Ultimate N in under an hour. Re-Boots were very nice.

Cons: I had the drive working for 5 months. I came home to find it was no longer being recognized by my system's BIOS. Bummer.

Overall Review: Since my system seems to be working fine with a replacement drive I don't suspect an power issues could have caused this. Could it be a thermal issue that caused this drive to fail?
