Not Bad@All
Pros: The use of seperate ink tanks allows HP to do 2 things- the print head can move much faster (due to less mass) and the average cost perpage will be less. The integrated card reader works well as a plain card reader not just for photos. The printer software works great! All of the retouching and red eye can be done using "Image Zone"....now i dont have to use photoshop for every little detail..
Cons: None that I can think of...I was concerned that ink would not be readily available (being that it is a fairly new model) but i now see that retailers have it locally.
Overall Review: The automatic paper selection works well if using HP papers as they now put a barcode on the back for the printer to read; Im not sure how well it does without the barcode. Using exclusivly HP paper i can say that print quality is very good but cost per page isnt quite as low as the photo lab...its just a lot more convenient.
Bummer
Pros: Used one on a 80gb ipod classic and it worked great in detroit so now that i have an ipod i wanted a transmitter.
Cons: Didnt fit? 8gb 2nd gen black nano
Overall Review: I was excited to to see the package waiting from the ups guy!! Alas- it will not fit my 8gb black nano? it states its compatable- but the data connector doesnt align. The ipod connrctor is .25in too far away from the headphone jack. BUMMER! But newegg service rocks!! So Im still a loyal shopper, just without ipod on my stereo.
ProHD
Pros: Matches home theater components. It is an "online" type battery backup, meaning it will not allow the voltage to sag momentarily when the power fails. I had my 52" on a cheaper apc es350 that was left over and when the lights went out- so did the tv.
Cons: Slight hum from the unit..beware it is heavy- a testament to its quality.
Excellent Value
Comments: I have used this case for many builds (at least five). The case design has been <font>u</font>pdated some over the past year to include the front audio and now the prescott cooling solution. The case is well build with the removable hard drive cage and a 300 watt psu. The included rear fan is a nice touch, though it should be replaced if you motherboard does not have fan speed control. Now, all it neads is changable colored faceplates.
