Win 10 Pro USB Flash Drive Instal
Pros: This worked well. If you have a question about using it to upgrade from, say Win 7 Pro, fear not. You connect the flash drive, open it, run Setup and the install runs from there. Old CD disks no longer required.
Cons: Setting up Win 10 Pro is a different issue, but that's on Microsoft. It's been a three week battle to disable all of their super nosy features and clashes with third party fire walls and anti virus programs, etc., plus dealing with disabled features like Windows Preview, problems with their it-takes-forever 'improved' search engine, yah dah yah dah yah dah. Came close to yanking Win 10 Pro several times but with perseverance and a lot of help from outside of microsoft tech websites you can eventually get it to settle down (hopefully). Takes patience.
Overall Review: Loved the install process from a USB thumb drive. If you're going to upgrade it is the way to go.
Magnificent Case
Pros: Been building my own systems for quite a few years. The last really great case was about 10 years ago. Then I ran across the CM Storm Trooper. Well engineered, well constructed, easy to work with, room to work inside of it, the fans are place properly so the entire system runs cool ... very nicely done.
Cons: None.
Superb M/Board
Pros: I've build a lot of boxes over the years (okay decades) and I love this M/B. It was easy to work with, it settled into the case perfectly, hooked up precisely, tested at 100%, has room and horsepower to grow should I need it. What's not to like. Great M/B at a fair price.
Cons: None.
Superb Graphics for What I Do
Pros: I don't spend a gazillion hours playing games (nothing wrong with that I just don't). My gig is doing a LOT of graphics work and video editing and this GeForce fits the need superbly. No regrets. None.
Cons: None.
Top Drawer at Fair Price
Pros: Overspec'd this, probably won't user all the horsepower, but I don't care. Not knowing what I'll add in the future I wanted headroom and have it. To start with true Gold is the way to go and Thermaltake did a great job with this PS. No regrets.
Cons: None.
WHOOOOSH!
Pros: Love this! No reservations. No "except for". Hands down the best CPU I've ever slipped onto a M/Board. Does exactly what I want -- no games but tons of graphics work -- and not a hint of overheating or errors. Superlative product.
Cons: None
