Limited time offer [Updated]
Pros: I found some vids online about how to "bake" these cards in order to reflow the solder. This worked and now both cards are working and I am up and running in SLI mode again. So if anyone else is caught in the same bind as I was (dead cards and no warranty), this may be an option to try before junking the cards and replacing them.
Cons: Requires some expertise in power electronics heatsink assembly and dis-assembly.
Overall Review: Also upgraded the card BIOS to fix the fan issue. GPU runs cooler and games run at higher FPS than before the bake and rebuild.
Limited time offer
Pros: I had two of these cards in SLI mode which worked very well for almost three years.
Cons: Both cards died within one month of each other. No warranty because of the registration issue described by previous reviews.
Overall Review: Also found on EVGA forums that there are known issues with these cards (fan BIOS) yet they will not honor warranty because of the technicality. I would be reluctant to trust EVGA again.
