Pros: WD makes great stuff and I personally have 10 of the 2TB passport "Ultra series passports and have bought clients about another 20 1TB. Of those 30+ drives 2 have failed. One of mine (in month 18) and one of a client's (in month 20). Warraranty swap was great, but note BOTH drives died after the first year.
Cons: This 'version' has a lousy 1 year warranty. Get the ultra, virtually the same and the same price (or less) and 3 year warranty!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SCOSCHE QUSBH reVIVE IV Black 4-Port USB Home Charger (500mA x 4)
Pros: Great while it lasted.
Cons: Would not power an iPad and only lasted 2 years of very intermittent and light use.
Other Thoughts: I bought this 'Scosche' branded item at an office store (on clearance, was marked down to $20). Since mine lasted about 2 years, and is now totally dead, there was NO downside to take it apart and see if the failure was obvious (like a blown capacitor).
Since it lasted about 2 years, would not buy again. Since it failed, I took apart to see if failure was obvious (it was not). see attached pictures. 2 stars for the 2 years it lasted.
Like another reviewer mentioned while it lasted the LED was insanely bright! (nothing now that it's dead)
This review is from: Mobile Edge Black Laptop Backpack Model EL901
Pros: I ordered this yesterday, NewEgg got it to me on "EggSaver" shiping in one day. Great price on sale (fiftenn dollars) I would be annoyed if it were the 'retail' price (it would go back immediately)
Cons: As far as laptop protection? It's barely better protection than a brown paper bag. This is a very light weight thin backpack with a BARELY padded 'sleeve' that you slide a laptop in. I might slip a laptop in it, if I separately already had it in a neoprene sleeve. I would then be quite concerned with being gentle with the bag...
Other Thoughts: I will see what it would cost to send this back, I'm that disappointed with it. My guess is it will be a significant amount of the $15 sale price and I will end up putting it in the donation pile at the local Salvation army...READ FULL REVIEW
