works great
Pros: Small form factor, excellent sound quality, range is approx. 30 feet when paired with my Zoom 4312-A bluetooth PCMCIA card in my laptop.
Cons: Should have ordered it a week ago.
Overall Review: If I could manage to criticize the sound quality, I would here. However, after three hours of testing I cannot distinguish the sound quality between this device and direct headphones with 160kbps mp3's. The range is excellent, and the design is very clean. Like another reviewer said, I haven't seen Tritton electronic products before, but will watch for future releases. Note: the sound through my Treo 700wx is mediocre due to the poor implementation of Bluetooth audio in the 700wx. In contrast, the Tritton wireless headset is great.
Perfect
Pros: Works perfectly in Thinkpad T520 4239CTO motherboard (SandyBridge) thus far after 1 week uptime. All 16 GB are running Dual Channel 800 MHz at CL 8, 1.28 V according to CPU-Z.
Cons: Not free
Overall Review: Glad to see all 16 GB work at full speed in a Thinkpad T520 which a few years old now.
OK
Pros: BIOS supports E2 v2 out of box, unlike current SuperMicro options (2012.11.10), IPMI, 1600 ECC
Cons: Just discovered fan throttling is NOT supported with standard ATX cases. From the manual (G167972-004_S1200BT_SERVICEGUIDE.PDF), page 28: “Auto” Fan Control is intended to support standard EPSD chassis options. “Manual” Fan Control is intended to support third-party chassis installations. Given that heat management is a core pillar of server management, I find this wholly unacceptable. This is my first and last Intel Server motherboard as a result.
Overall Review: no fan throttling for off-the shelf ATX cases.
works with my FW DAW
Pros: Works great with my Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 DSP in Windows XP SP2 on my Lenovo Thinkpad X200. Saw another review claiming difficulties with a 'real' FW audio interface. Posting to advise it works with mine.
Cons: Can't hot-swap in my Lenovo Thinkpad X200. Win XP doesn't properly allocate resources and the card is only recognized after a reboot after insertion. Fine with me though, I blame Windows not Rosewill for the problem.
Overall Review: Thanks, newegg, for another good deal. I've spent plenty a kilobuck here :)
looks great!
Pros: looks great, no dead pixels.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: I have used this LCD all day to test before installing for a client. The price/performance seems optimal to me (thanks newegg!) and it looks great-- I am back to order one for myself.
works
Pros: cheap, works as advertised.
Cons: cheap
Overall Review: For the fine price offered by Newegg, this phone works great. Of course this is currently the cheapest available deal on the internet for a USB phone, so expectations should be commensurate with the purchase price. I'd recommend this phone for anybody looking for a cheap USB phone that works.
