Pros: memory has great bandwidth and performance. it is in an evga x58 classified 3 (e770 version) and works great with the i7 960 thats in it. dont know why the reviewer before me couldnt get it to run right, runs fine :S
Cons: none that i can see.
Other Thoughts: if you still have an x58 platform, this is a great triple channel kit above 1600mhz, which saves you having to overclock the memory, just the base clock a bit ;P memory dividers people ;P use them. also dont forget to change the mch strap on x58 platforms (if you can). it can help alot.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: so this card is amazing and all, 55% fan keeps it at 60C or lower (even when overclocked O.o).
Cons: what you should know about this card is that from a certain production date on, the evbot connection has been removed due to nvidia being a total communistic but hole. evga has been forced to do this to 100% comply to nvidias strict limitations on voltage modding from external devices, which is prohibited by nvidia, like they have control over it or something >.> so be warned, your classy MAY or MAY NOT have the evbot connector. i bought from the egg not a month ago, and mine has it, so i got lucky, just be warned. if you didnt know and got one without the evbot, talk to matthew at evga directly for assistance.
Other Thoughts: other than nvidia taking a turn for the worst and forgetting the customer, its a great card. buy ati, they are have not forgotten their customers.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: VisionTek Bigfoot Killer 2100 Gaming Network Card
Pros: well, it actually works, all you people sittin on the fence about this, it does work. I took a risk at baught it and well im pleased! the software for this card is actually excellent. I noticed a good 25-50 ping difference (lower) on my connection (5mb/s cable one) depending on what server i was on in BF3. this compared to the other nic on my evga E770 board.
Cons: havnt found any yet. the real key to this card is setting up the software correctly, then you can really fly!
Other Thoughts: note, there are a couple of settings that will make a huge difference when gaming/downloading. there is a setting called tcp no delay. what that does is when checked, sends out single packets of info, while the default in windows is 2, multiple packets must build up before it sends the info, this is what causes high pings in games. now, however, that 1 packet per send is detrimental to downloading, when downloading the other setting (default) is actually better. so you have to compromise one for the other. since i dont download gigantic files or watch youtube all day, i dont mind having it set to tcp no delay. the more bandwidth you have on your internet connection the less you will notice the download speed drop anyway :P i still get around 500kb-1mb /s download so im fine with it. i highly recommend this to everyone that wants great pings in games!READ FULL REVIEW
