Apple Mac Mini Desktop (2013 Model) Intel Core i7 4GB DDR3 1TB HDD Mac OS X Mountain Lion - Silver (MD388LL/A)

Pros: Small footprint. Very easy setup. Answer 3 or 4 questions, enter your Apple ID and Setup Assistant takes care of the rest. Quiet and boy is it fast. It literally took me longer to connect cables and run them so they looked tidy than it did to get up and running. Recognized my HDMI capable HDTV right away since I am using it as my monitor. It set the screen resolution and aspect ratio automatically. Time will tell on reliability.

Cons: No DVD drive and it would be nice if there was a User Guide. The Quick Start guide is a little lacking for those who are less than average computer savvy. It's available on line in Apple Support but you'd have to know that. The User Guide has some needed info on the wireless mouse and keyboard that the Quick Start Guide does not.

Overall Review: For those who have heard the horror stories about not being able to get the Apple wireless keyboard and magic mouse, or HDTV, to work during initial setup, worry not. The trick is to plug "whatever" into the ports on the back of the Mini and turn them all on (along with the mouse and keyboard) BEFORE you turn on the Mini. When you follow that sequence, the HDTV is recognized immediately. Setup Assistant sees that you have a wireless mouse and keyboard rather than USB ones, and takes you to a different branch in the setup utility. From there everything runs on auto-pilot. Painless.

3M 10FT Braid Charging Cord Flat Knit Charger Cable For iPhone 5 5s 6 6Plus iPad Mini Air iPod Touch Purple

Pros: Stylish. Inexpensive. Nice long length.

Cons: Works with the iPhone 5S but doesn't work with iPad Air 2. My wife and I both have iPad Air 2's. Won't work with either. Get a "Not Charging" message when you plug it in.

Overall Review: Add is a little misleading. Implies it works with the iPad Air.

Reasonably well featured printer at a very good price

HP ENVY Photo 5660 Wireless All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer
HP ENVY Photo 5660 Wireless All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer

Pros: Bought this as a replacement for my HP C310a which gave up the ghost after 8 years. Setup was an absolute breeze. Unpacked the printer, loaded the paper, turned it on. After it initialized, logged it onto my network. I then threw away the installation documentation and CD that came with the printer, went into "Settings", "Printers and Scanners" on my MacBook Pro. It found the printer quickly. I selected the printer and hit the plus sign. OS X loaded all the appropriate drivers. Did the same on my iMac and Mac Mini. I already had an HP account so start to finish - a little less than 10 minutes total. Tested all the features - they all worked. Our IOS devices found the printer without issue as well. Printing was quiet and fast for all printing modes with good quality, and it did a good job with photos. I decided to try out HP's "Instant Ink" program since for me, the quoted cost would be less than what I currently pay for remanufactured ink. Sign up was equally as easy.

Cons: Obviously a new machine, but none so far. Time will tell on durability as well as the performance of HP's "Instant Ink" program. If there is a downside, the cost of a set of OEM ink cartridges outside of the "Instant Ink" program (or using remanufactured ink which is what I do) was $10 less than what I initially paid for the printer. But then again, it's not the razor. The revenue is in the blades.

Overall Review: As I noted, I did this on MAC's running the latest OS X. All the required drivers were in the operating system. Central to my network is an Apple Time Capsule. I have no idea if a Windows 8 or 10 installation would be as seamless but I would suspect so (at least it should), and I would try that before I ran HP's installation CD. I originally paid $99 for the printer a week ago. The price is now $69. I was reasonably pleased with the product so for $69, I decided to order a second one to replace our aging HP 6510 which hasn't exactly been covering itself in glory as of late.

Pros: I previously rated this product as "One Egg" due to what I perceived as supplier delivery issues given my credit card had already been charged. Turns out it was an issue with the Tracking Status not being updated to show actual progress. It continued to show "In Process" at the factory for an order that was placed on May 7th. Within 2 days I was contacted by both NewEgg and Wavlink. Given Wavlink appears to be in China, this was impressive customer service. Both NewEgg and Wavlink provided clarifications that satisfied me, including an offer to refund even though the product had in-fact shipped. I will patiently wait for the product and have changed my rating accordingly.

Cons: We'll see when the product gets here.

Overall Review: Bravo NewEgg and especially Wavelink. You read your reviews and your fast response shows you understand customer service.

Great Printer - great price

HP Photosmart 6520 Up to 22 ppm Black Print Speed 4800 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality USB / Wi-Fi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer
HP Photosmart 6520 Up to 22 ppm Black Print Speed 4800 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality USB / Wi-Fi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Pros: If you're looking for a good "all around" inkjet printer this is the one. Air-print capable so you can print directly from an IOS device. e-Print capable so you can send emails to it. Setup was a breeze. Setup is accomplished right from the printer's display. Up and running in 10 minutes. No issues. Didn't even have to download drivers from HP (I NEVER use the setup disk, I always go to HP's web page for drivers). Windows 8.1 recognized the printer and installed the proper drivers without any input on my part and the printer appeared in "Devices and Printers". All features worked. (see "Other Thoughts")

Cons: None

Overall Review: This is a first time installation on Windows 8.1. I've a previous version of this model (6510) happily running under OS X, and have for several years. Output quality is VERY good if you use a 24# weight paper with a brightness of 94 or better.

Good Value

Mee audio Air-Fi Venture Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone (Second Generation)
Mee audio Air-Fi Venture Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone (Second Generation)

Pros: Light weight. Comfortable. Good sound quality. Don't look cheap. Paired with my IOS Device without issue. Charges via USB from iPhone and iPad chargers in addition to a computer USB port.

Cons: None to speak of though I haven't owned them long. Time will tell on durability.

Overall Review: I'm sure there are higher quality wireless Headphones on the market with better sound quality, but if your ear is not any more sophisticated than mine, not at this price point. Having a voice identify when the headphones turn on and off is a nice touch.

Good Service - Good Price

Ordered an HP Photosmart 6520 printer from Action Package. The order was promptly processed and was delivered within a couple of days. The product was well packed and arrived without issues. A very pleasant experience. I would order from "Action Packaged" again.
