Most Favorable Review

Best game since Battlefield 2

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition Playstation3 Game
Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition Playstation3 Game

Pros: Very nice graphics, Best in game audio of any game I have ever heard. Teams composed of squads you can spawn on. Many varieties of weapons classes and customizability within classes. Points awarded for teamwork. Destructible environments. Best inovation in gaming since BF2 hands down. The game I have been waiting for

Cons: None so far with 125 hours logged. Except the burn in my plasma has developed from continuous use.

Overall Review: EA really nailed it on the head and realized the public has a better understanding of what combat sounds like. The audio in this game really is superb. Being a person who has actually heard artillery impact, and rounds snap and crack, Im glad to see a game producer take advantage of all the combat footage that makes it home, and utilize it in a game. Other manufacturers have left this by the wayside and it can really detract from the experience. Yes when explosions are far away there is a delay between sight and sound. Thank you EA for realizing this....

Most Critical Review

Obviously forced to market to capitalize on their previous acheivments

Playstation3 Game
Playstation3 Game

Pros: You can play against AI for those who want to build their skills before making the transition to online multi-player.

Cons: Arcade style, non destructible environments, poor physics engine, game audio downright sucks... I mean with modern combat footage pouring into mainstream media these activision programmers need to get on board.

Overall Review: Audio of weapons and air support is horrible. Any person who has watched the history channel for 10 minutes should have a better understanding of how combat sounds. Rounds crack overhead, bushmaster 30mm cannons rip the air. Something activisions programmers have completely failed to see. This game is more comparable to an 80's actions movie with Jean Claude Van Dammn. If you want to see what right looks like, go buy Battlefield Bad Company 2.
