Comments: I needed to replace my All-in-Wonder ATI 9700 after I switched to a PCI Express mobo. You can't beat this for the price. It uses two USB ports (one for extra power) but in Windows XP it doesn't use the audio cable. The picture is as good as my ATI card had. The PVR software is acceptable but I miss the ATI option to "start recording now for two hours". The software can be scheduled but can only be set at the hour or half hour (you can't set it to start recording at 7:25, 7:30 is the best it will do so your program had best start at exactly that time). The remote is a bit flaky. It may need to be broken in and being IR you must point right at the receiver and press the buttons firmly and slowly. Overall I'm quite pleased with the quality.
Network Fail
Pros: Great board - for about a week.
Cons: I'm the IT manager at my factory and I've used Asus for years. I bought it in February. First, it was taking 38 seconds to wake up from sleep. It took a week of trouble shooting to find that the drives were not detecting in the BIOS. I had to swap SATA ports to get everything to detect, then sleep worked. Now the network interface is dead. No lights. No response to new drivers, uninstalling drivers, etc. Just a "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" message. I am so disappointed in Asus. This board has been out long enough that it should be bug free.
