Good Motherboard
Pros: It's a motherboard that works. It works with my Intel Q9400 and OCZ PC2-6400 Gold 8GB Quad Kit.
Cons: The motherboard comes with a "Crazy Cool" which is heatsink that goes on the opposite side of where the CPU is. I followed the instruction to install the CPU first. In fact you need to install the "Crazy Cool" because the CPU is covering one of the screw for the heatsink.
Overall Review: You need to get the latest bios from the manufacturer website in order to take advantage of Intel VT. Once you flash bios the VT option will appear in the setting.
Somewhat Disappointed
Pros: Works with Windows 2003. Firmware is already up-to-date.
Cons: I bought the drive for backup purposes and it's on 24/7. A "click" can be heard when you try to open a folder or a file. It will take up to 10 seconds after the "click" to open the folder for you. This behavior will go away if the drive is not idle. It worked for 4 months and then I was flooded with error messages. I changed the policy from "Optimize for performance" to "Optimize for quick removal" and it seemed to get rid of the errors. These are the errors I was getting: The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur. An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2 during a paging operation. {Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file . The data has been lost.
Defective
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: The only reason I bought the FAT+ was to stream NetFlix. The device was able to connect to the internet (download firmware update, YouTube app, Flickr app worked.) When opening the NetFlix app it said it couldn't connect to the local network, but it was able to connect to the internet, check for update and connect to NetFlix server. I got one red light and three green lights and it would't let me get pass this screen. I tried all the networking tricks that I knew of (DHCP vs Static IP, connect to router vs cable modem, disabled firewall) and couldn't make it work.
Not bad. But don't count on the rebate.
Pros: It doesn't look cheap for sure. I bought this power supply to replace another TT PS I had for 3 years. I found out the warranty for my first unit was still valid after I received the new one. So I submitted a RMA and got a replacement with no question asked. They stand by their warranty.
Cons: Having cable management feature would be nice. Now I have a bunch of power cables that I don't need hanging inside the case. I submitted the rebate the day after I received the unit. It has been almost 3 months and still haven't got my check.
Great Buy
Pros: Very quiet when idling. I don't even notice it is on. First page comes out in 8 seconds when idling. Works with Windows 2003 and printer sharing.
Cons: Can't think of any.
