Pretty much perfect
Pros: Most everything is perfect so far. Great interface. I LOVE The keyboard. It is very easy to type on. Quad core, true 1080p display. Good video card. The only thing it doesn't have is bluray. Great deal for the price.
Cons: Arrow keys are a tad small for my tastes. No hard keys for volume.
Overall Review: Far better than the similar cost and spec laptop from asus. item: N82E16834220702
Great power, horrible UI
Pros: Great power. Huge screen. Solid build. Reliable. Great value over-all
Cons: Lots of annoying cons. The touchpad is horribly inaccurate. The mouse-button is a single rocker-style which leaves you always hitting it in the middle where it does nothing. The keyboard is horribly cramped with keys being too small and in strange locations. The power input and exhaust fan on the side are annoying. No physical volume buttons (must use fn+f11/f12).
Overall Review: If you are a power-user who likes to use his laptop for lots of mouse and keyboard work without having to use external you will quickly despise this laptop. If you use an external keyboard/mouse anyway, it's a great buy. As for me, this was purchased as a work laptop to build custom user-interfaces on, and the keyboard/mouse issues are killing me. I am returning this laptop
Great buy for money
Pros: Solid aluminum door (not plastic) Everything worked with no problems. Adequate hardware included... The labels for at, atx, mini-atx screw holes on the motherboard tray were a nice touch.
Cons: I couldn't get the plastic "no hardware" hard-drive slot to hold the hard-drive correctly. The pin was too big for the screw holes. Not really a big deal, the hdd is just a little loose in there.
Overall Review: Great buy for $50. Would buy again.
NO DVI!?!?!
Pros: Awesome picture. Excellent for gaming. Truly, an impressive monitor.
Cons: NO DVI!!!!! Are you kidding me? How many of you have HDMI output on your video cards?
Excellent looking
Pros: Although I was dubious about buying an "HP" monitor, this one was the best and I had to bow-down to that no matter what the brand name says. The high-gloss improves the look so much. I've noticed no dead pixels and no ghosting at all. Gaming is excellent. If you were thinking of a lower priced monitor, do yourself a favor and pay 25% more to get a 100% better monitor.
Cons: slight light bleeding at the top and bottom edges, though it's not really noticable. Even if you're watching a moving with black bars they are still black, not gray. All LCD's have this.
Overall Review: I first saw the monitor here on newegg, but ended up buying it at circuit city for forty dollars less. Best Buy carries it also.
