Pros: I've purchased 5 of these over the last year and never had a freeze or failure. Currently have all 5 in Raid5.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say about these drives.
Overall Review: I've used them in both XP x86 and Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
Pros: Cheap, small, portable. Quality is fine for watching videos.
Cons: Both of my tv's have PCs connected to them and I can read the text just fine when I use the tv out on their graphics card. When I used this converter I never found a setting where I could read text. The converter output was fine when the source was set to standard aspect ratio. When the source was widescreen the output was sqished regardless of the aspect ratio of the TV.
Overall Review: When I was using my laptop (not using the VGA out on the converter) it made the internal display look worse. I had to reset my resolution and refresh rate settings every time I plugged in the converter. But at least I could read the test on the internal display.
Pros: Excellent sound reproduction. Full rich sound comes close to my more expensive Sennheisers. Mic is clear and crisp.
Cons: Even after adjusting my mic settings it seems like I have to talk louder than normal for this mic to pickup my voice.
Pros: Blazing I/O in Raid 5. Easy to use interfance. Works fine in Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
Cons: Windows GUI (HTTP) lacks some of the features you get in the card BIOS. Couldn't get this to run stably in XP x64 even with the lastest drivers and firmware from their site.
Overall Review: Initializing 5x1.5TB in Raid5 took 12 hours. I suggest increasing the 'Background Task Priority' setting to high.
