Great Card

XFX Black Edition Double Dissipation Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9-290X-EDBD
XFX Black Edition Double Dissipation Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9-290X-EDBD

Pros: Pro's about this card is it improved my Video gaming experience to a whole other level. I went from 30-40 fps from my old video card to 60-90fps on this one. Take in fact that i'm going from an Xfx 6770HD Radeon to the Xfx R290x was a major boost. Slim can be quiet if not running under a heavy load. The light up logo looks great with my theme of White/Black/Gold/Silver colors.

Cons: Cons would be that this card gets hot fast. Not sure if its the heatsink, or the fans, or the way how it distributes heat evenly through the card. I do have to take the side panel off while playing one game since I moderate the temperature as it reaches up to about 80c. I've read somewhere that Amd says that their cards can handle up to 95c but I don't even want to let it get there. If you're not playing with headphones on, or have audio turned up when the fan kicks up to 100% It sounds like you're about ready to take off on a flight. Other than these two cons the card is great.

Overall Review: Other thoughts would be, if you buy this card and wish to void the manufactures warranty by putting an after market cooler or going with liquid cooling by all means do so. I'm waiting for the warranty to go out before I decide to go with liquid cooling.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X - Ryzen 7 5000 Series Vermeer (Zen 3) 8-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM4 105W None Integrated Graphics Desktop Processor - 100-100000063WOF

Pros: Runs amazing and easily replaced my 3600.

Cons: Cons runs a bit hot under load with an air cooler but over all still impressed.

Overall Review: I don't know why I went down 6 cores before when I use to have an 8350 with 8 cores. Glad I'm back to the 8 core powerhouse of a cpu.

Great Upgrade Card!

XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX-57XT8MFD6
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX-57XT8MFD6

Pros: Its quiet, if you leave it on its default settings, as you can leave in manual for your own turn on the card. They have Auto Under volt, Auto Overclock, and Auto Memory Overclock for those who are new to messing with the radeon settings. Great performance with the price.

Cons: It can get very hot if you do not mess with the fan settings. My junction temperature on this card hits 101 to 104 but AMD has released a statement about the cards saying 110 is within specs.

Overall Review: Overall review of the card for my experience with the card for the short time I've had with it is amazing. I was previously an owner for a XFX RX480 GTR 8GiG, and was looking for a new card to upgrade to. I went with the reference card this time, for the ability if I decide to go with a AIO cooler. All my FPS in games from a 15 year old game have gone way up, all the way to newer released titles. I've stuck with XFX as my brand for video cards, because they have never let me down yet.

Great Replacement of a r290x

XFX Radeon GTR RX 480 DirectX 12 RX-480P8DBA6 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Black Edition Video Card
XFX Radeon GTR RX 480 DirectX 12 RX-480P8DBA6 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Black Edition Video Card

Pros: It was a simple replacement for my Xfx r290x Double Dissapation card. Sadly the fans were dying on it and I couldn't find any replacement fans.

Cons: Still a bit warm, but not as hot as my r290x

Great For Price and Size

SanDisk Extreme Pro 2.5" 960GB SATA 6.0Gb/s MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDXPS-960G-G25
SanDisk Extreme Pro 2.5" 960GB SATA 6.0Gb/s MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDXPS-960G-G25

Pros: The Pro's of getting this SSD is, its the better bang for your buck if you're on a budget. Looking at Tom's hardware information about the difference SSDs out there. This ranked second below Samsung as it has a slightly slower read and write speed, but ranked higher in terms of pricing.

Cons: Con's would be is that its a shame that most HDDs, or SSDS, or any time of storage device doesn't give you the full ammount regardless. I had only 894 gigs out of 960.

Overall Review: I would definately buy another one when I get the extra money to do so. Sandisk's a great company along with the Others out there as well.

Overall Great

CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock
CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Pros are that its clean, and quiet with its fan speeds. White LED fans make my motherboard stand out. Simple easy button set up for power, HDD lights. Its quite spacious from when I went from a CM90 to the Stryker.

Cons: The cons aren't that bad. The case overall when fully installed with everything is quiet heavy. I had a hard time getting the thumb screws loosen so I had to use a Philip screw driver nothing to big. I wish the rear exhaust fan had an LED light to to match the front.

Overall Review: If Cooler master designers do happy to come by and leave feedback on customers questions and comments, just try and place another LED light for the exhaust fan.
