Nice Wireless Adapter
Pros: There are so many wireless adapters on the market, it's tough to read the positive......and negative reviews on any product and then try to make a decision. I, personally have never had an issue with the Rosewill line and this was no exception. A customer was having reception issues and was only about 40 ft. from the router he was working off of. He had purchased several wireless adapters but at best could only get 1 -1/12 bars, or nothing at all, in the room he was in. I installed this card in his machine, running Windows 7, which reconized the device, picked up his connection, along with a neighbor or 2, immediately. It had a full 5 bars. My advice....get one and try it!
Cons: It wasn't free and it don't dispense soft drinks!
Overall Review: It's a piece of electronic equipment.......yeah...you may at some point or time in your life be unfortunate enough and purchase an item that don't work. It's made on an assembly line! That's why these places have an RMA process. It's gonna happen sooner of later......send it back and get another one...or better yet...get a refund or credit. Newegg is very flexible..give em' a chance!
Cheap and Poorly Made
Pros: Well...it plugs in and the little blue light comes on!
Cons: Poorly made item. This was the second one purchased because the little pins in the card slots bent on the first one. Okay...maybe it was just me. Nope! The next one did the same thing. No matter how careful you are...the pins in the card slots are easily damaged.
Overall Review: Don't know how much more careful I could have been inserting cards into this thing. Maybe the skills of a surgeon would be helpful. No more Rosewill purchases. I seem to ALWAYS have issues with their items.
Budget motherboard that works!
Pros: This motherboard 'fills the bill' for a budget build. It has plenty of SATA ports, has an easy to work with BIOS and a simple to use OC Genie. It has a VGA and a HDMI port, which I found nice. A lot of boards in this price range and size, only have a VGA port. It also has a great little hardware monitor that's very easy to find your way around in.
Cons: This board had enough USB ports for my use, but, it would be nice if MSI would add a couple more. It could also use a couple more system fan headers. But, not really a major Con in my book!
Overall Review: Don't be afraid to spend your hard earned dollars on this board. You won't regret it...especially if your dollars are limited!
Great Little Modem
Pros: So far this modem has worked great. I'm on Time-Warner, and they decided a couple of months back, to jack up the price of their modem I was leasing. After doing the math, it only made sense to BUY one! It will pay for itself within a year and it was one that Time Warner had on their list of compatible modems if you wanted to purchase your own, so you need to be sure and check your cable company's website for that!. I'm using an older NetGear router, but plan to upgrade that also, but both are working great together. As of yet, this router has not dropped a connection, (knock on wood), but, if it were going to drop connection, I'm sure it would have done so by now. You will have to contact your cable provider to get it activated. That's always fun...I always seem to get the "not so bright" tech! It's compact in size too. I really liked that.
Cons: Some WiFi devices are not compatible with Docsis 3, which this modem is.
Overall Review: Buy this modem on sale if you can. But it's a good preforming little modem at any price and it delivers.
It's A Graphics Card
Pros: Well....it works....and there was a colorful image on my monitor. This came as a package deal with a mother board I purchased....so I thought I would give it a try. Good card for basic graphics and daily use.
Cons: Don't get overly excited about this card. No cooling fan...but that was expected and could possibly be corrected. It does get warm! I went ahead an installed this card in my build...just for grins and giggles. Ran Windows experience again and my score went from a 5.9 down to a 4.6! Seriously! I replaced a GeForce GT120 with this card. Guess what? The GT120 went back in...and it's several years old.
Overall Review: Cheap and okay for a basic, everyday graphics card. Wouldn't recommend it for major gaming.
Excellent Product!
Pros: It's quick! You get a fresh, hot cup of coffee every time. I personally like the fact that there's not a pot of coffee sitting on a warmer...cooking away. There's nothing worse than having a cup of coffee that has been sitting on a warming plate for a couple of hours. I've even tried the coffee makers that turn off the warmer after so long...they still don't compare to this machine. You can even adjust the temp setting, so you can have a cup as hot as 192 degrees. That's the temp I leave mine at! You can even choose the amount you want to brew, from a regular sized coffee cup to a travel mug. Bottom line...it's just a great cup of Joe....and your choice of flavors and brew strengths are endless. You can order the K-cups from the Keurig web site, or several other web sites, like coffeewhiz.com.
Cons: None that concerns the machine. I don't understand why so many others on here have had such bad experiences. I've had mine about 6 months and have made at least 600-700 cups without a problem....seriously! They make different colors....maybe these people are buying the wrong color! :o) I find it hard to believe that Keurig has made that many bad machines! The only con...and I'm not removing a egg for that....is the fact that the K-cups can be a bit pricey.
Overall Review: If you have the chance......buy it! You can find 18 count or so boxes of the K-cups at most grocery chains and the big retailer out of Arkansas, but flavor choices can be limited. Go online if you want to be able to see all the flavors. I personally buy my K-cups at a couple of the big wholesale clubs, there again, one is from those people in Arkansas. I can buy "Newman's Own" brand there in an 80 count box for about $33.00
