Pros: Silent round, it doesn't hear and produces not too much heat. Configure in RAID 1, it is still fast and can write and read at the same time without loss of speed for backup! I now have a backup of my digital archives as safe that I have ever had and I have access to the files as if they were in my internal drive, wow!

Cons: Thunderbolt Cable not included!

Pros: Plastic case of good quality, better than those of WD My Passport. Allows a connection similar to USB 3.0 with the Thunderbolt cable on the old MAC with USB 2.0. To put at the end of Thunderbolt chain drive, practical!

Cons: Heat as soon as it connects and never stops turning. On a new MAC with USB 3.0, there is no difference in speed between the USB or Thunderbolt connection, only about 100 Mb/s. The logo of the device in the Finder is yellow without indication of USB or Thunderbolt connection unlike other mobile disk!

Overall Review: I advise for a connection with a old MAC with USB 2.0 to connect in Thunderbolt and have speed of USB 3.0, faster than Firewire 800. But you will be disappointed with a new MAC because it is not a true fast Thunderbolt connection, it is better to buy a new USB 3.0 disk with the compatible chip for new MAC.
