Pros: No dead pixels. Brilliant 24-bit color with no dithering. Sharp text. High contrast 16 ms S-MVA panel. Thin bezel. Clean design. Sturdy adjustable stand with pivot & swivel features. Dual inputs. 0.294mm dot size perfect for Windows default font sizes; no need to choose "large fonts". Good viewing angles for both normal and pivoted orientation.

Cons: None of my cons are significant enough for me to drop my rating of this monitor from 5 to 4, but I mention them in case you might consider them to be serious defects. As is typical of LCDs, the black level is not as deep as a CRT black level, but this is only noticeable with an all-black screen. With any reasonable image on the screen, contrast is plenty deep enough. Viewing angle for an all-black screen (rgb 0-0-0) seems narrow, with a visible backlight leak apparent in the corners when viewing the center of the screen up close. Backing off from the screen reduces the effect. Changing the screen color to charcoal gray (rgb 32-32-32) yields a screen that looks more uniform and which I do not perceived to be significantly lighter in the corners than in the center.

Overall Review: I relied heavily on Newegg customer reviews when deciding my monitor purchase. I hope this review helps you decide your purchase. My unit was made in China in May, 2006. Image quality at 1280x1024 is the same on both DVI digital and VGA. There is no need to buy a DVI video card if your card has only VGA, as long as it can do 1280x1024 60 Hz. In non-native resolutions, fonts are too bold and too fuzzy. Plan on using 1280x1024. I use the L1955 in pivoted mode most of the time. With the small font that I use for computer programming, I can easily keep many beautifully sharp lines of code in view. The minimum height adjustment has the bottom of the monitor 4" above the desk surface. This is clearance needed for pivoting. So there is no need to the tilt monitor back when pivoting it. The pivot software does not automatically sense rotation of the screen. Using two mouse clicks, you have to tell the software to switch rotations, and then physically pivot the screen.

Pros: Still working well as SSD data disk for Photoshop, much faster than HDD.

Cons: I ran CrystalDiskMark and Roadkill Disk Speed on both this KIngston SSD and my other SDD. The Kingston scored much lower (half or less) on both of those benchmarks.

Overall Review: My previous rating of 5 eggs was based on the low price,significantly below the price of competing SSDs. Now that the price of this SSD has risen to be much closer to the price of my other SSD that scored better in two out of three benchmarks, I would no longer choose this one. I would pay the few dollars more for a higher-scoring one.

Overall Review: * I bought this device because I am a cool geek and the brand name is Koogeek. * I bought this device because it is colorful. * I bought this device because the low Shell Shocker price was right. I would not pay the regular asking price for this device. * The weather station and clock are working well. * I am unsure of the accuracy of temperature, but it seems to be with in about 2 degrees Fahrenheit. * The device accommodates up to three remotes, but only one remote is included and I find no opportunity anywhere online to purchase additional remotes. * I will not use the alarm feature because I do not position the device within an arm length to be able to operate it.

Pros: Comfortable in my ears, unlike most other ear buds I have tried.

Cons: NO BASS! Very non-linear frequency response based on frequency sweep with my ears compared to my other headphones. NO BASS! Horrible for music.

Overall Review: I had high hopes for these headphones. Huge disappointment. Tinny sound. Same sound for me as built-in transducer on iPhone. Horrible for music. Just OK for voice, but unnatural. At least they do work, both left and right, which is why I gave 2 eggs rather than just one.

Pros: The docking station seems to work well after applying a firmware update. I would have given it 5 eggs if it had shipped with firmware version 2.67.0 already loaded.

Cons: As shipped, my 6619US3-BK was running an old, defective, version of firmware (2.62.1). The docking station would not successfully quick format my new 1GB WD Black 2.5" HD on Windows 7 x64. I used Google search to find a firmware update. I updated the firmware to version 2.67.0 using MPTool, which is not a self-explanatory tool. I had to figure out how to use MPTool myself, since I could find no English language documentation of the tool. (The only manual is in Chinese, even though the software is in English!) But I finally figured it out and the firmware did get updated, and now I can use this docking station to format my new 1GB WD Black 2.5" HD. I only knocked off one egg for my troubles.

Overall Review: Unless you are comfortable with finding firmware updates on the Internet and doing a firmware update using a confusing software tool, I suggest that you do not buy this docking station. If you like a challenge, go ahead and buy one. Do the firmware update, and you will have a nice docking station.

Pros: I've saved on my water bill much more than the cost of this unit since I installed it three months ago, replacing a traditional controller. Its ability to reduce watering based on weather far exceeds that of a rain sensor. The ability to control it from you phone or tablet is very cool when you are servicing the system.

Cons: The housing is too small to contain the wires unless you can hide the wires inside your wall. I purchased a plastic housing for the unit to cover the wires, even though my installation is indoors.

Overall Review: Be aware that it is 8 zones only if you don't have a master. It is 7 zones if you have a master valve.

I bought a "new" IDE hard drive for an old system I'm refurbishing. The drive was new as in never previously used, but of course, being an antique, it was more ten years old. I realized that the probability of a 10-year old drive being usable is low, even one such as this one that has never before been used. I tried repeatedly for more than one week without success to make the drive operate without getting random read errors. I repeatedly scanned for bad blocks and encountered about a dozen bad blocks on every scan, never the same block twice - just random read errors. I zeroed and wrote random data to the entire drive several times and still the scans would always get random read errors. I contacted the seller about the problem and received a reply the same day and full satisfaction. Excellent seller!

There was an issue with the product I received and after I contacted Green Electronics through both their customer support forum and the Newegg RMA procedure, the support I received was outstanding! The responses to my inquiries gave me the feeling that the Green Electronics founders and employees truly care about customer satisfaction and product quality.
