Overall Review: Got it running Debian with IPTABLES, Squid in transparent proxy mode, and SAMBA. It's faster at sharing files with SAMBA than full-on Xeon Dell servers running Windows 2008 SBS. I'm impressed. This board in the associated 1u rack case with a couple mirrored 2.5" laptop hard drives running Debian/CentOS with SAMBA makes a nice inexpensive alternative to BOTH a firewall AND dedicated server in a small business environment.

Cons: Dead immediately after plugging in

Overall Review: This is the second Corsair USB drive that died almost immediately after plugging it into my Gigabyte mobo's USB port. Took it to another PC, it's unreadable.

Pros: G.Skill has been very good over the last decade, happily replacing the one failed modules that I had (out of hundreds). Reasonable price

Overall Review: Recommended

Pros: Has Intel NIC worth $350 if purchase separately. Has LSI SAS controller worth $250-$300 if purchase separately. Works with a single CPU. Really good running Hyper-V.

Cons: Needs a Supermicro chassis, not a con if you are in need of a chassis since Supermicro chassis pair well with these.

Overall Review: Have 3 servers in the field, each running 4-6 VMs with Hyper-V on this mobo, and they are trouble-free.

Pros: Beautiful Screen, nice resolution, nice keyboard, surprisingly limited bloatware compared to other laptops (only had to uninstall a few things). The Chinese got this one right!

Cons: For this size laptop I would have expected additional internal space for a 2nd HD/SSD.

Overall Review: I immediately replaced the internal HD with a 64gb SSD after creating the restore disks (which rebuilt Windows on the SSD). Worked like a charm. This things screams through Win7-64 startup and login through the facial recognition is pretty darn snazzy.

Pros: Great sound for the price, for me I never push the bass too high (downstairs neighbors). Avatar sounds better than ever :)

Overall Review: I'm no audiophile, just playing some games and using software synths - but it sounds good to me.

Samsung SSD is great. Newegg although has been very suspect with shipping. I place an order for something "in stock" and then magically it doesn't ship for days, then no tracking for days, it's hit-or-miss. Now if "in stock" item doesn't start tracking within 3 days, I cancel the order. I'm done being lied to.
