Pros: Compact size, easy config, tons of storage. RAID 1 setup was very simple. Had to call tech support for new firmware and they were very helpful. I was on hold less then 2 minutes. Micronet has been around forever, I trust them a lot.

Cons: There is no confirmation of RAID status, which is a little eerie. I'm not sure if there is any way to check to see if a drive has failed if it is in RAID 1. It did not mount under OS X 10.5 out of the box, I had to call Micronet for a firmware upgrade.

Overall Review: There is no way to lock the eSata cable in place, it comes out pretty easily. This is the first eSata device I've owned, so I'm not sure if this is an issue with this device or all eSata devices.

Pros: It works, not much more needs to be said.

Cons: It wasn't free?
