Pros: This drive is fast! And super small! I plugged this guy in, and everything just flew. XP installed in 10 minutes, mobo installed in about 5 and i brought over 10 gigs of music onto it in about 15 minutes. I love this!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Overall Review: It is small. Smaller then my old IDE drive at least!
Meh
Pros: This motherboard is pretty great. Everything is really easy, nice layout and the gfx card will only be in the way of the sata if you use the lower PCI-E slot. That's ok with me because i don't plan on going SLI with this anyway... The best part is that it's nice and fast. Faster then my old 630i at least. XP installed in about 15 minutes. Loved that.
Cons: I have a problem where after I get to a certain point of things, my sata dvd drive makes the mobo crash and give me a Drive irql not less or equal error. I was able to get xp all the way up to sp3 and the mobo drives from the disk. Once I started to install things like PowerISO and winrar, it crashed gave me that irql error. Did a bit of research and found that a few of ASUS' motherboards conflict with sata optical drives. I unplugged my drive and everything's currently working.
Overall Review: So overall this motherboard is good if you don't use the optical drive very often. I'm in the process of RMA to see if it wasn't just this one or not.
You people are dumb
Pros: It's a VERY BIG monitory for a very small price. I bought this when it was only 200 dollars and I am very very happy with the display.
Cons: I got a bit of light bleed in my bottom right. That's fine though. very unnoticeable.
Overall Review: To all of you seem to have a problem with tilting the monitor, you're stupid. The monitor does tilt. Granted its a little bit stiff, but if you're competent enough to put it together right, you'll be able to tilt it.
Pros: I love this case. Everything fits, didn't get cut, and best of all, everything stays nice and cool! It has three fans so it's very cool inside. My graphics card (ati 4850) is running at 35c which is very low temp for this series.
Cons: The lights can sometimes be a bother. I put a piece of electrical tape over my hdd light. I'm too lazy to go unplug the light. The two fans by the 3.5" slots are also lit, but I don't bother with those. I don't really like lighted cases. But it's not enough for me take this anything below 5 eggs
Great Card!
Pros: Great card! I was worried about size when I first bought this. I currently only have a micro ATX board so it takes up a lot of room. It comes with everything one would need to get going. Power adapter, hdmi/vga - dvi adapter, minitool, drivers and even a crossfire adapter. Everything runs much smoother. I ran oblivion fullout settings with a constant average of 60fps and even Fallout 3 worked perfectly at about 45-50 fps constant. I would buy this card again, but I plan on upgrading to a 4870X2 shortly.
Cons: Big for my case and mobo. Runs hot at base fan speed. But the catalyst drivers allow you change that.
Overall Review: With base options games ran at about 20-40fps. I had to overclock the memory and cpu speeds. Max CPU speed is 700 and max memory speed is 1200. I wouldn't go up that high though... Games start acting funny when you go max. It also isn't good for the card. I also only have the card clocked when I play a game. In between it just isn't necessary.
Great lil mobo
Pros: Great motherboard. BIOS are fine I guess. I didn't try to overclock anything however. Everything ran fine for a the first few weeks.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that a few weeks after buying this mobo my onboard LAN stopped working. It gives both green and orange lights. BAD... Fixed it with a wireless adapter though...
Overall Review: Good motherboard, no real problems. Probably just an isolated issue. The computer was sitting in my garage unplugged for about a month. Bad grades, got grounded... Anyway, I only bought this board because my previous one burnt out and I needed one fast. Got the cheapest I could afford.
