Pros: Solid metal construction

Cons: We had to purchase a special Syba PCI-x card with a Sii-3124 Chipset to be able to connect to a port multiplier via eSATA. First unit was defective - ate 2 hard drives right out of the box. The replacement could not build any type of RAID using any number of drives - it would only do JBOD. I updated all the software, called Tech Support multiple times over multiple days with no answer and no response. Since the unit was supposed to be the primary server RAID, we scrapped the project.

Overall Review: The solid metal construction supports the extra RAID cards in their boxes and helps keep the reference books on the shelf from tipping over.

Pros: Heats water quickly.

Cons: I have owned and used this item on a regular basis for tea and for hot breakfast cereal and for noodles and other quick meals. It has heated water like it is supposed to do. After 5 months of use, I happened to look inside the carafe and noticed that the seam along the bottom of the carafe wall is covered with a half-dozen places a half-inch or larger where the carafe is rusting through. I don't know how long I have been drinking rusty water, but I am not any more. The short cord mentioned before is less than convenient but functional.

Overall Review: I requested a RMA from the manufacturer today. I will complete this post with the outcome.
