Nearly 4 Years old and no problems!

AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition - Phenom II X2 Callisto Dual-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM3 80W None Integrated Graphics Processor - HDZ550WFGIBOX
AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition - Phenom II X2 Callisto Dual-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM3 80W None Integrated Graphics Processor - HDZ550WFGIBOX

Pros: I got this in 2009 and Overclocked it to 3.5 without difficulty. It can sit at 3.6 but 3.5 is very stable and only a slight bump in voltage. This thing was a steal. in 2009 I paid $102 for this chip and I still feel that is worth it today. Granted the Caches are a joke but this chip is everything I need right now.

Cons: I have none. Okay maybe that I can't OC any higher?

Overall Review: My system has been upgraded all around this chip over the past 4 years. The only reason I will likely upgrade from it is for the ability to use more and better RAM, but that is mainly because I'll need a new MOBO My build with this includes: 80GB Intel X25 (I think that is what it is) SSD Boot 750GB WD Black 2 TB WD Green 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM 660 Ti GPU This cpu is still functional enough for me at this point, and not many people can say that after nearly 4 years!

2x DOA due to (my opinion) poor packaging

WD Elements 18TB USB 3.0 Desktop External Hard Drive NE-WDBWLG0180HBK-NESN Black

Overall Review: I have used WD elements for 15+ years with great results. Never a DOA, never an issue. Recently a drive began failing, so I bought this as a replacement. Took 1 week to arrive (no big deal) however it is very loud and clicking out of the box, with pc recognizing the drive but transfer rates abysmal; RMAed for obvious reasons. Had to wait for my item to ship back to newegg before they would slow ship me a replacement. Drive still failing remind you. Second arrives today, single bubble pillow thing in the box for protection. Louder clicking upon plugging in and PC won't even recognize it. Box has no indication for "fragile" and is poorly supported internally. Currently in chat with representative who is poorly following the script and I am just about done with Newegg, but I need this drive and it is sold out everywhere; seems like I am stuck waiting for the RMA lottery to work....the worst part is these drives were probably fine before shipping but packaged so poorly and without indication of fragility that they break in transit.

Look great but cannot get the speed advertised

CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Memory Kit Model CMD16GX4M2B3000C15
CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Memory Kit Model CMD16GX4M2B3000C15

Pros: -Exactly what I wanted for my system visually -Got a great deal at the time -Work well BUT (see below)

Cons: -Cannot get timings near 3000. At one time I did manage them to hit 2933 stable. Once. Then from there I cannot get 2533. It is much better then when It was sitting at 2133 and wouldn't budge, but I have had problems with the XMP profile like others have stated. I turned it off, manually set timings and voltage, then tinkered with the speed until seeing that 2533 was the max; only 50% of what they should be over stock levels. I am also over 6 months out since I noticed the problem and really sat down to fix it so I am stuck with these faulty cards. They do work completely fine at the much lower speed, if that counts for anything.

Great Card for Casual Enthusiasts

PNY VCGGTX660TXPB G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
PNY VCGGTX660TXPB G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This was an ideal upgrade for me. I had been running a 5750 for quite some time, milking what I could out of it in games on low settings. This is my first experience with NVIDIA and I am very pleased. Card runs all games at Ultra or near Ultra settings on my 1080p 46 inch TV. I use my PC for mainly media but also games more recently while the consoles have reached the end of their cycles and the crossover PC versions are nicer on the Eye. I am not a super-enthusiast so not maxing out settings is not a concern but I must say that nearly every game is at Ultra or between the preset Very High and Ultra settings running at 60FPS. I cannot emphasize enough that the GeForce Experience software is worth paying an extra $50 for. It automatically upgrades optimal game settings and drivers if desired. It basically takes the guess-work out of setting up settings for most games. I recently played Tomb Raider and every day or every other day it updated the settings as new tests were ran. This service coupled with my happiness with the card as a whole is causing me to consider getting a second to run SLI Also, though PNY is the base model of the 660 TI, it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! All you do is easily register the card on their site (which it prompts you to do when you are setting up the initial drivers) and you are covered!

Cons: These are not serious cons so they don't detract an egg, however coupled would make me consider giving it a 4 egg instead of 5. -PNY is the base model of these cards and thus you get slightly less performance than the bigger brothers from EVGA etc. That said, PNY offers the lifetime warranty so there is your trade off. Realistically if you are buying this card at this point you are not the serious enthusiast and so the slightly lower performance for the warranty trade-off is likely appealing. I did not know about the warranty until after I bought it. -It only running 10-20 dollars less than the better versions can be considered a con, but again, the warranty. -A final slight gripe is I reached out to their customer support for information on a step-up program like EVGA (I think them) has but I did not receive a response. This is more of a potential gripe if I need true help in the future

Overall Review: I am not a top enthusiast for games. I OC and am a general PC enthusiast but PC is not my primary game device (usually). I am running an older system right now so this is the shiny piece to the puzzle so I may be glossy-eyed My Rig: AMD Phenom xii B50 (OC Quad Core to 3.5Ghz) 8GB (2x4GB) RAM 80GB SSD for Boot and current Game 750GB WD Black for infrequent programs and temp 2TB WD Green for media Windows 8 This card is for those individuals with a budget looking to get a card that can run most games at max to near max settings at 1080p resolution. I did get this at $200 with the MIR and promo which was a steal. I would not hesitate to buy another for ~$250 for SLI and had I known it's performance going in would not hesitate to buy at the current price of $279 for 1 card.
