Pros: 1) Price: the ONLY laptop I've found that\s around the $1k price point that is really a gaming laptop! 2) Way better than the ASUS ROG an other models I have tried and returned! this was the first laptop that I received that had 8.1 already installed and ALL the drivers working! 3) Two hard drives, awesome 4gb video card, i& processor, the stats are awesome. 4) Great heat venting system. 5) Plenty of ports and in all the right places, no ports sticking out of the back panel. 6) Amazing sound speakers built in that has an actual woofer in it too with bass control software! 7) Display angles on the screen are good, it's seems better than most anyways.... 8) G1 G2 G3 function buttons are nice to have! 9) Not once has it slowed down, stuttered, crashed, or given me any kinds of problems and \i run ALL KINDS of games, graphics software, desktop publishing, web design, etc on it, rock solid machine. 10) Runs incredibly quiet unless you turn the turbo fan on.

Cons: 1) Horrible keyboard layout. This is the only real negative about this machine as I see it but it's so bad I took an egg off the rating because of it. IF you are a user that can't handle the SHIFT buttons being the same size as the rest of the alphabet keys then you're going to have fits with this thing like i do. This is really bad because when you're playing a game , well, the \shift key is really freaking important: run, stop, etc. it controls movement in most FPS. I really hope they can upgrade this later for people. its bad. 2)other thing is windows 8 which i hate but you can't fight progress right?

Overall Review: When you go to do windows updates on this thing DO NOT update the INTEL HD drivers from microsoft on this thing. Go to the intel site instead or simply don't install them at all, you won't need them,trust me. However do keep your nvidia drivers up to date with the built-in software. Activate this machine right away. the key code is on a sticker on the bottom of the machine. I also found it useful to install the IRST intell rapid tech driver in there too off the driver DVD. Other than the incredibly freaking lame SHIFT keys, this laptop rocks! Especially for only $1000

Pros: 1) Great battery life. 2) Low price.

Cons: 1) Bottom right corner lifts up, not perfect seal. 2) Very slow boot up and shut down times. 3) After using it for 4 months, the screen went totally crazy with random colors on it. 4) Company claimed to have OS upgrade from Froyo (Android 2) to a newer upgrade, but never released it. Then released a "new" pad with the new OS. LIARS!

Overall Review: Loved this at first but after having issues with the old operating system and now having the thing go crazy with random screen colors, this is a total dog. Will not be buying any LePan product from here on!

Pros: Amazing price on a gaming machine. Great performance (except the hard drive) The quietest machine I've ever owned, I don't even hear it running! WOW!

Cons: The SSD drive is about the lowest, slowest of the SSDs that you can get, they should have packed it with the L7 performance drive but even that isn't as good as say a newer Corsair or a Samsung SSD. I'll be upgrading the drive soon here to a .M2 Samsung drive, very disappointing. I did a speed test and the Lite 2.5 3D SSD they included was writing at speeds of almost 3 times slower than my Corsair drive (without optimization software) and 5 times slower than my Samsung drive (also with the magician optimization software installed). WOW! Also, the ram chips have any annoying color strobe on them that you can't turn off, I don't need my gaming machine to look like the inside of a disco, lol!

Overall Review: Some have complained about setting the machine up, but I had no problem at all. you do have to open the outer case up that has a few manual screws on it to open and you have to remove the packing bag from it, then simply put the lid back on. I also added another SSD drive and it was a piece of cake. For those complaining about needing a windows key, I didn't face that issue, I simply connected the thing to the internet and click on the button to register windows and boom, all done, no problems.

This company sent my client a used computer with a bad hard drive. I understand that it was refurbished/used but they should do a quick scandisk to see if there are any bad sectors. I go to check the disk and the whole thing takes a dirt nap! I get them to send me a new drive because it's under warranty and when it arrives it's another used drive, with bad sectors, AND it HAS NO WINDOWS 7 OS on it! So now am I not only out hours of labor, etc I had to order a NEW hard drive and and OS to put in the client's machine, loosing about $200 in the process total. I tried calling them during regular business hours and all I got was a recorded message then a dial-tone. Seriously? This will be the last time I use these guys. Be warned!!!
