Rosewill RHAI-19002 Portable Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner, 1500W Electric Induction Cooker with 15 Temperature Settings, 15 Power Levels, 8 Preset Modes

Pros: - Lightweight and portable - Easy to clean - Heats well, and from what I can tell evenly

Cons: - None really, just beware that you need induction compatible cookware.

Overall Review: My coworkers and I use this in our "break room" every day for lunch (typically a wok stir fry). After one week of use it has been great!

Double-click Issue

Corsair M65 USB Wired RGB Laser Gaming Mouse - Black
Corsair M65 USB Wired RGB Laser Gaming Mouse - Black

Pros: Looks nice minus the t-stamp (new logo) Weighty Has a nice texture Tracks properly and accurately

Cons: Everything else. And by everything I mean the one function you need from a mouse, as a point-and-CLICK device. The issue here is that this mouse chooses to double-click whenever it wants to from a single press of the left mouse button. Sometimes it gets locked into a double-click cycle and I need to pull the left click cover up and reseat it. Sometimes it only happens once. I don't know why this happens but at this price I'm beyond disappointed. Google-ing the issue brings up several other reports of this happening so I know that this is not an isolated incident. For $70 USD I shouldn't have an issue with the performance of the product. To put this in perspective, I visited about 3-4 other pages on newegg (that I did not want to) on the way to write this review due to double-clicking.

Overall Review: I haven't attempted to contact Corsair to have them rectify the situation but this will be the last product I purchase from them. Back in the day they were a solid company, now they pander to the lowest common denominator with their "gaming" line of products.

Pros: other thoughts only

Cons: other thoughts only

Overall Review: This is just an addition to my other review. I do not have an SLI setup. The popping (I think it's a capacitor) has nothing to do with my setup outside of the monitor itself. It has happened in the bottom left quadrant and the top right quadrant. As much as I would like to get inside and verify it I will not open up a $650 monitor and scratch it. I am waiting for it to fail to send it in or let it keep doing its thing. The only other issue I have is that sometimes, though not often, it will not wake from going to sleep or after a power off while my computer is still running. This MIGHT be a setting in windows that I've overlooked, though I seriously doubt it based on other reviews/

DOA

Lenovo IdeaPad - 15.6" - Intel Core i5-4200M - Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M SLI - 6 GB DDR3 - 500GB SSHD HDD - Windows 8.1 - Gaming Laptop (Y510p (59409581) )

Pros: Cheap - $860 at time of purchase. Newegg RMA.

Cons: Dead on arrival. On initial boot-up the computer went to Auto-repair of the OS. Usually this means restart and the problem should be solved. Not quite the case. The OS was bad from the get go. At one point the OS completely crashed while I was swiping on the trackpad. I tried to fuddle with the OS to get it stable, but for close to $1,000 shipped and taxed I don't expect to do any work with the laptop. Couldn't even get a BIOS menu with the standard F11 F12 or DEL keys on startup. The SLI caused several games to completely crash. This could be an nVidia issue, but considering the software issues already present.... The trackpad is atrocious. Pushing down to apply the click mechanism of the trackpad caused the trackpad itself to dip close to (I'm guessing here) 3/8" into the laptop. It felt awkward. Lenovo did include some nice swipe gestures with their trackpad software though. 5400rpm drive means about 1-1.5 min boot time. I noticed no performance gains with the hybrid feature, though to be fair I had other issues with the laptop that could have been cutting into a faster HDD.

Overall Review: Thank goodness for Newegg's RMA policy. Honestly just buy a better laptop for "gaming." The SLI is beefy, but I'd take a single more powerful card that functions with all games and has less to break down/go wrong.

Microsoft JR9-00011 Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows
Microsoft JR9-00011 Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows

Pros: It works Official controller feels better than the others I have used

Cons: None

Overall Review: I was skeptical about the wireless adapter since I heard so many people have had problems with connectivity. In a small desk setup where I am maybe 5 feet from the receiver this thing works very wonderfully. Quality controller. The 360 controller is hands down the best I've ever used and this official Micros---- one is leaps and bounds better build quality than the Afterglow I had been using before. Will update if there is failure in an unreasonable time. (within 2 years)

Quality Service

The item was not delivered or shipped on time, but that is okay considering COVID-19 shipping delays. Email was received with an apology for delay and a shipment tracking number. All is well. Service was definitely up to my standards.
