windows 8 review
Pros: Its' an operating system, it allows me to run my pc. Better than paying 199+ dollars for a non OEM version.
Cons: I first started working with computers when Windows ME was in the market. And have had the versions that followed it aside from vista. It has a learning curve some will not like.
Overall Review: Yes it has a learning curve and a big one at that for some. However if you have windows 7 and debating on if you should upgrade I would stay with 7. But for me I went with 8 for my new pc build. Otherwise I would have stayed with 7.
MS keyboard & mouse combo
Pros: Suits my computing needs. Is made fairly well, and is a good price point.
Cons: none so far
Asus monitor
Pros: Good monitor for the money. I didn't expect alot for a budget monitor. However I was plesently surprised.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Those complaning about the monitor stand being unstable, My question to you is. Did you put the base on backwords??? I have had no stabilaty issues with this monitor base.
It's RAM...........
Pros: Ram is ram but seems to work fine, so far.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: I am a Kingston fan. But they were out of stock for the 1333 version of what I wanted. For roughly the same price.
some posts missleading
Pros: it powers up
Cons: none so far. but read other thoughts.
Overall Review: Some posts for this particular optical drive are misleading. some state that it has some dvd/burner software (note: This cd burner does NOT come with any software or cables PERIOD.) you get a optical drive nothing more. I got suckered into thinking it had software but it does not. Other wise I would have went with a cheaper model. only need it for movies and occasional copy's of data discs.
so far so good
Pros: lots of options for the money
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Just got my order today for the Motherboard, RAM, Processer. Got it put together without HDD or optical drive and the mother board posted so all good so far. Was kina scared with some of the reviews. But decided to take a chance. I have owned mainly Intel and Asus motherboards with little to no issues to date. Will update if anything new/bad happins.
