Works find and ships with firmware update

Kingston SSDNow V200 Series SV200S37A/128G 2.5" 128GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Stand-alone drive)
Kingston SSDNow V200 Series SV200S37A/128G 2.5" 128GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Stand-alone drive)

Pros: Better then SATA II performance = more then fast enough. Low price Reliable company Solid build quality

Cons: Not as fast as other SATA III drives. Bad reviews because of old firmware drivers.

Overall Review: The majority of the negative reviews of this drive model are of the 64 & 128 GB models. The 256 has a 5 star. The reason why these have a bad rap is that their was a bug in their firmware that made the drive write very slowly near the beginning of 2012. It was a software bug and they fixed it as soon as they found out about it. My drive shipped with the new firmware and works as specified so don't listen to any of the reviews about this drive being slow because its not. You can't beat the price on this model. Unless your observed with speed, this drive is plenty fast enough. If you only have have SATA II, you wouldn't be able to get any faster.

Most Critical Review

Not good with Windows 7

MSI Radeon HD 5450 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Low Profile Video Card R5450-MD1GD3H/LP
MSI Radeon HD 5450 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Low Profile Video Card R5450-MD1GD3H/LP

Pros: Its low power usage and its Hybrid CrossfireX compatible(with 880G and 890G).

Cons: The 2D graphics performance blows. I could care less about the 3D. I bought it because my integrated Radeon HD 4250 had pitiful 2D graphics performance and I was looking for a silent low power solution. I was hoping that it would improve the 2D performance but it did not. The Windows performance score for 2D is at 4.2 out of 7.9. Not a good score at all. Web browsing is noticeably slower on my 3.2 GHz quad-core desktop than on my 2.67 GHz dual-core laptop with a Radeon HD 5650. I haven't tried playing any 3D games yet. I've read that you only get a 25% increase over the 5450 standalone. Hybrid Crossfire is novel, and worth it if you get the card for super cheap because it's low power, but still has pitiful price/performance value.

Overall Review: All I wanted was a good 2D graphics card, unforgettably, this does not do 2D or 3D very good in Windows 7.

Loud and not as good as cheaper models

Thermaltake V1 Max-Performance CPU Cooler with Massive 110mm Blue LED Full-Range Variable Speed Fan CL-P0401
Thermaltake V1 Max-Performance CPU Cooler with Massive 110mm Blue LED Full-Range Variable Speed Fan CL-P0401

Pros: It looks like it might be a good cooler for overclocking.

Cons: The fan is REALLY loud even at the lowest setting and is extremely loud on the highest setting. They defiantly fudged their noise readings. On the lowest setting its about 22dB and 30+ on high. Mounting this thing an an AM3+ mobo sucks!!! Hands down the hardest to install I've run across in my decades of building systems. The thing is really big and it is extremely difficult to put on when your mobo inside of the case because its V shaped . I"m utterly socked I didn't shatter my GPU when installing it from pushing on on the heatsink. I would recommend taking your mobo out of your case when installing. It took me an hour without doing so and I've got a lot of experience with this style of clips so it would take your an hour and a half at least.

Overall Review: Its solid copper, so that should add a few degrees per watt cooling, but the fan is so loud I wouldn't want to be in the same room while using it for that purpose. I can hear it right now on the lowest setting... and its really loud. I regret buying it.

Complete waste of money

SilenX EFZ-100HA2 100mm 3rd generation fluid dynamic bearing Effizio CPU Cooler
SilenX EFZ-100HA2 100mm 3rd generation fluid dynamic bearing Effizio CPU Cooler

Pros: It looks nice.

Cons: This fan sucks because it has a 3-pin connector. Unless your motherboard can sleep down fan voltages, this thing is going to run at full power and is extremely loud. Not impressed at all.

Solid case for the money

APEX Black Steel DM-532-U3 Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
APEX Black Steel DM-532-U3 Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: I haven't had any issues with the PSU and the fan is quiet. Some other users got DOAs but thats just going to happen with any sort of consumer grade electronics at this price point. It has a 3.5" drive spot and I have an SSD in the 3.5" drive bay. The metal and plastic don't feel thin.

Cons: The case is bigger then it looks. I initially wasn't happy with the size, and sometimes I get the urge to waste more money on a mini-ITX setup, but there really is no need. This case won't fit above your AV Receiver (maybe under it), but it has a nice home under the TV by the game systems. The CPU fan is a little bit loud. I bought a quiet one (17dba) and I the fan sounds louder then it should. I think its because the metal is thin(er) so the fan noise resonates, but I'm comparing it to an Antec Solo which isn't really a fair comparison (that's a really nice case BTW). Its quiet enough for most people, just not an audio snob. But your going to pay for that so its a non-issue. The USB 3.0 Header doesn't work with my motherboard unfortunately. The mobo manufacturer put the header right where any cramped case with a hard plastic USB 3.0 header wont work. Can't really ding an egg for that due to it being a motherboard issue and not the case. Just something to be aware of when selecting the mobo. Pick the one that has the USB connector towards the back or the case and not the front or plan on using USB 2.0.

Overall Review: Overall I'm happy. Less than $500 got me a nice AMD A10 system with a 1TB HDD and 32GB SSD Cache. I wouldn't call it a home theater PC case though. Its really just a slim desktop case that can pass for one.

Broke in exactly one month

Incipio EDGE Iridescent Gray Hard Shell Slider Case For Sony Xperia S SE-107
Incipio EDGE Iridescent Gray Hard Shell Slider Case For Sony Xperia S SE-107

Pros: Looks good. Makes phone feel more expensive.

Cons: The plastic is not very strong. A month after I got it, it feel apart. The clear band is not secured very well to the base and the thin part on the right broke.
