Powerful Little Warrior

Intel BOXD945GCLF2 Atom 330 Intel 945GC Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo
Intel BOXD945GCLF2 Atom 330 Intel 945GC Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo

Pros: Wanted to try out the new Dual-Core Atom and it has exceeded my expectations. Processor supporting MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, EM64T, Hyper-threading tech emulating a four-core processor.

Cons: People have been complaining about the GPU's fan and I don't understand why. It's been fine.

Overall Review: This little dude packs a POWERFUL punch for its size. I would recommend this motherboard to anybody building a computer for themselves. I picked this motherboard because I wanted a computer just for basic needs as well as a cut from the electric bill without sacrificing performance by a large margin. For the fan problem, just let the BIOS control it. Change the settings from constant to the variable 50% - 100%. If you had a car and ran it at 100% all the time the engine would kill over too wouldn't it? That small little stock fan wasn't meant for super sayian speed.

Awsome Hard Drive

Seagate BarraCuda ES.2 ST3250310NS 250GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda ES.2 ST3250310NS 250GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Nasty-quick little drive. The cache size is awesome.

Cons: None but I wonder what a 64MB cache would be like.

Overall Review: I picked this drive because I don't even use 25% of a 500GB or 1TB drive. No use of getting a large drive if I don't even use most of it. I have to admit, I have been impressed with 32MB cache drives. If you need a fast little hard drive for a home desk top, this item is perfect!

Powerful Little Monster

SeaSonic ECO 300 300W SFX12V (v.3.1) 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
SeaSonic ECO 300 300W SFX12V (v.3.1) 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Powerful little PSU. Does what it's suppose to do.

Cons: Naw... None.

Overall Review: Had to purchase this PSU because the case I was using (HP Pavilion 6635) for my custom pc didn't have any. What can I say, the case is small. Here's the Atom Project (in newegg item numbers): - SeaSonic ECO 300 300W SFX12V (v.3.1) 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - N82E16820231119 - N82E16813121359 - N82E16822148309 - N82E16827135192

Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKB 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Very fast and responsive hard drive. The person that I bought it for was extremely pleased with the performance with this item and item# N82E16820134173 worked together (heheh... yeah. Kind of an old computer that woke up after the upgrade). Installed Windows XP Pro (...wished I installed Vista instead ...oh well) and everything came out perfectly.

Cons: None. I don't know why there were customers that rated this four eggs instead of five. Windows experience will be fine if it is installed properly in the beginning.

Overall Review: Current Configuration: - Partition 1: 30GB; Partition used for operating system and the installation of programs. - Partition 2: ˜470GB; Partition used for users' files. It helps when you do your homework and research first!

Sweet & Cheap!

ZOTAC GF6100-B-E AM2+ / AM2 (AM3 CPU compatible) NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ZOTAC GF6100-B-E AM2+ / AM2 (AM3 CPU compatible) NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: I installed the board and it work perfectly. Even if Vista was installed already on the hard drive still worked perfectly!

Cons: I thought the IDE and SATA cables that came with the motherboard felt kinda cheap and flimsy. I used them anyway.

Overall Review: ~ GF6100-B-E was used to replace the motherboard in a customers' computer that was shorted out because of a liquid spill. Thank goodness it was only the motherboard that shorted out. ~ I liked the overemphasis of the color orange that was used by the company. From the cables that came with it to the boot up splash screen used orange. It was great!
