Great Laptop!

ASUS Laptop Intel Core i7-2670QM 8GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit N55SL-ES71
ASUS Laptop Intel Core i7-2670QM 8GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit N55SL-ES71

Pros: It is a great balance between battery life and performance. I am able to play the Diablo 3 Beta on medium-high settings on this with ease. It also runs very cool!

Cons: Not really that big of a deal but the 5400 rpm hard drive does show it's colors. I will be tossing an SSD in it soon.

Overall Review: It didn't have all that much bloatware on it which I was very surprised.

Great HDD

Western Digital Scorpio Black WD3200BEKT 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: This drive certainly shows it's speed. Worked great right out of the box.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I bought this to replace a Seagate drive that even though passed diagnostics it was still acting funny. After putting the WD drive in I haven't seen any issues and the speed difference is very noticeable!

Great Cradle!

Thermaltake BlacX 5G ST0019U ABS Plastic 2.5" & 3.5" Black SATA I/II/III USB 3.0 Docking Station

Pros: This cradle works great! I just put the hard drives in power it up and I can do whatever I want to them. The USB 3.0 speed certainly helps big time too! I wish I had purchased one of these sooner!

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I saw quite a few bad reviews for this but I took a chance. I think a lot of people who are experiencing blue screens and lock ups probably don't have the latest USB 3.0 drivers. I updated the firmware on it too just to be safe.

Great SSD!

Intel 520 Series Cherryville 2.5" 180GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSC2CW180A3K5

Pros: I bought this for my brand new laptop that came with a garbage 5400rpm mechanical. The boot times/application load times were very sluggish. After putting the SSD in boot times are nothing and shutdowns are almost instant. Application load times also just load/run so much smoother!

Cons: None!

Overall Review: I've used only Intel SSDs. I first jumped on for the x-25 series and have been hooked since. I have an Intel 510 in my desktop and the 520 is certainly faster in my book. Most likely the Sandforce chip in the 520 compared to the Marvell in the 510

Very nice buy!

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler

Pros: This thing is fairly quiet as well as inexpensive for a water cooler. So far it meets my expectations for water cooling my 2600K!

Cons: The instructions are a little bland and I unfortunately installed this when the motherboard was already in the case! I highly recommend you install the cpu bracket before putting the MB into the case!

Great CPU!

Intel Core i7-2600K - Core i7 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I72600K

Pros: This CPU blew me out of the water with it's speed and price! Waiting for this cpu was all around well worth it!

Cons: O those recalls!

Overall Review: Sadly, I bought this cpu the day before the massive P6 recall. I kept my patiance and it paid off nicely having to wait for the new boards to come out!
