works fine
Pros: it works and was easy to install.
Cons: Loud Noise of the fans
Overall Review: Allowed me to bring back to life a 2004 budget computer to donate.
works great
Pros: Access to Netflix, Amzn VOD, Crackle, Pandora. Quick Start-up even without activating the quick start-up feature that uses more power. Wonderful UI. Easy software update that didn't require me to download content to my pc, then move it to a flash drive, then to the player. Instead, a prompt appeared when I booted one day and I clicked the software update icon. Nice and Simple.
Cons: Somewhat loud drive mechanism. Poor Netflix application that doesn't allow for browsing of titles outside of the queue. Requires a PIN on every Amzn VOD purchase.
Overall Review: Use it daily to watch content on Netflix and previously purchased episodes and movies from Amzn. The only trouble I've had with any online service were a couple interruptions on Crackle during episodes of some classic TV shows. Have yet to try Wi-Fi, Hulu Plus, Slacker, playback of files from USB, nor Sony's Qriocity service. Not sure why people complain about a lack of HDMI cable in the box. On Newegg and other online retailers, HDMI cables are available for 3-4 USD and often with free shipping.
improved video quality
Pros: Improved overall video performance. Drivers were easily found online. Easy Install. Quick delivery.
Cons: Stuttering HD video on Vimeo.
Overall Review: After selecting AGP in the BIOS menu for Primary Video full Screen Hulu became watchable. Other video sources loaded with ease. installed in 2004 HP Pavillion a600n with Athlon XP 2800 with 2GB DDR2
