Expected higher quality
Pros: The case is made of a very solid and sturdy metal. It's has plenty of space for everything and your cables which made installing very easy. The fans and lights are awesome. Love the easy access to the slots above. Love how easy it was to secure my graphics card and other cards.
Cons: The fan controller died on me within a week. I probably shorted it out by having all the molex plugs for the 5 fans connected to one another and then to the fan controller. There was no instructions so I had to guess if this was the right way of assembling the fan controller. Just about anything that's metal is flimsy and weak. Hell one of the USB ports on the top is already a little sunken in and I haven't even used it yet. Also the temperature display is only in Celcius and not farenheit. No way to change it as far as I know. Again no instructions for such simple things. The ODD Lock is utterly useless. It can not gripe any drive that's put in. You see it shoves these little metal pins through the screw holes of the drive. Sadly the pins are too short and the lock itself is very flimsy and not secured. It has far too much freedom and with just a hand test you could barely feel the pins poking through the metal, let alone get deep enough to hold a drive in! The HDD locks for the drives work at least but feels light and cheap. One of them couldn't fit my 80 gig drive but that really didn't matter since the case is tight enough to hold it in place.
Overall Review: Size. This thing is a monster compare to other cases I've used and worked with. Weight is another thing that surprised me but that's also telling me how sturdy the case is. Fan controller seem to have made no difference when it was working. I got this on sale for $90 for it and I'm glad I did because if I had paid $130 I certainly would've given this a lower rating just because of the cost. Clearly the materials don't cost that much and for many important components that further help sell the case to be so shotty designed or made poorly. Did little to impress me.
Good while it lasted
Pros: Great sound, great comfort. Everything was clear and I had no problems with it.
Cons: Only lasted 9 months. I was expecting this to last much longer considering the lifetime warranty listed on new egg. This failed to impress now that it hasn't even lasted a year.
Overall Review: Normally I don't write reviews but I've had it with constantly buying new headsets to have them break within a year's time. This is getting far too frustrating for me. I pay expecting quality and got this.
Good for 3 months...
Pros: Great sound and good noise cancellation. It canceled just enough noise so you won't be disturbed but if someone calls to you'll still hear them
Cons: Only lasted for 3 months. The wire got messed up and now I have to keep it in a certain position so I can continue to hear sound.
Overall Review: The little control box constantly got in my way. There needs to be a clip or something for it. That always kept dropping and yanking on the wire. But it wasn't even the end that connects to the headphones that got messed up, funny enough.
Pros: I've had this headset in the past. The first one lasted me over 1 year. It had great sound, great quality and was rather durable.
Cons: However, after getting my second one I was deeply disappointed as this second one lasted me only 3 months. In both cases the wire got damaged. This headset has a very thin wire trailing out of it, you can even see it in the picture. Because of this I won't be buying a third one and will be looking for another headset with a thicker wire.
Pros: The big ear muffs are great for reducing sound around you. The headset is far sturdier than expected for this cheap headset. I only gave it 3 eggs cause of the price. Otherwise 2
Cons: Extended use is not recommend. It causes your ears to hurt, maybe do to lack of blood circulation? Definitely will take some time getting use to. Sound quality is medicore but expected. Mic quality is about the same
Overall Review: Speaking to other people with it, I quickly found out that they can hear whatever I'm hearing. So if your listening to music, they will hear it through your mic. Something to keep in mind when using them. The headset seem like it needed to warm up. Upon the first day of using it, when the volume was cranked to the max only one side got really loud. 2 days later both sides are at equal volume. Really wierd.
