Good deal if on sale
Pros: - Bought cheap (170$) - Gold so not bad on efficiency - 5 Year warranty - Been running for about 10 days straight at 1kw ish load
Cons: - Generates a lot of heat - Fan always on - Really pushing it for a 4 GPU setup (6x 8pin to 8pin and 2x 8pin to dual 8pin) - Small whining/water like sound (like the xbox one has)
Overall Review: But you get what you pay for. I am a fan of seasonic (Hate their cables that don't fit in other ps but i will let it slide). But this rosewill ps generates a lot of heat, seriously. Just this ps generates as much heat as a whole system does. Will update this if something comes up
Great HDD for raid array's
Pros: i used alot of drives from different sources (3 from here, 5 from directdial.com and 4 from microbyte) and most of them have never been turned off for over a year and are still in brand new state in a smart check so im very happy with my purchase
Cons: they work wonderfully how ever they are still max 5400 rpm so its not the best performance you can get but still good performance.
Overall Review: you can still get great performance out of these with a Raid 10 array and a carefully picked stripsize
THIS CARD WORKS ON NONE SERVER MOTHERBOARDS
Pros: ok heres my setup: motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Black Edition CPU:I7 4820k @ 4.8ghz Ram:4x4Gb @ 2400hz 2 samsung 250Gb SSD in raid 1 for windows 8x4Tb western digital red in raid 10 strip size: 128b so me i was looking for a raid card to use on a none server board i tried a lsi mega raid card did not work so i was trying card left and right and now i finally found a card that works aka the one im reviewing also for more info this card supports strip size up to 1024b and its working beautifully so i STRONGLY recommend this card to anyone wanting to run alot of drives in raid 5,6,10, 10+ spare
Cons: none
beautiful
Pros: bought these to replace my 2 g skills 2x4gb 1600hz ram which i gave to my sister they works very well and the blue goes well with my kingston hyper fan x
Cons: quite expensive but worth it
great fans
Pros: nice and works very well and are whisper quiet
Cons: the only con i see is the power cable is only a 3 pin (power and lighting cable) compared to my cooler master fans which are 3 pin (power) AND a 2 pin for lighting
does a great job
Pros: ok its about 25c in my room and i made the custom curve manually and it keeps my cpu (4820k) at 29c and its very quiet unless you put it at maximum
Cons: ok their is **1** problem with this cooler is that corsair are not the pritest people (no offence) the computer ha sALOT of difficulty working with this device i got it working 1 time and made the custom curve on it since then i tried eveything i talked to 4 different people at corsair they dont know how to fix this so if you buy this you will have 1 chance to tune it well after that maybe you will have other chances but just do it well
Overall Review: other than that it works great and does a great cooling job it kicks my old h80 out the window in comparison XD
