Overall Review: I used this without raid. I always have harddrives as removeable, So I can install different operating systems or remove my good stuff to clean infected drives and not risk my data. I loved IcyXXXXX but this takes less space and NO trays.

Pros: Charging ports and all other ports are exposed and usable when shield is on. Works great in bright sun when I put phone on dash holder.

Pros: These cables are nice and pliable. The other ESATA cables are either too stiff or snap if sharply bent.

Cons: When the power blinks, like someone down the road hits a pole, the bios jumper must be cycled to get it to work again. The boards with the AMD chips do not do this, just nvidea chips

Pros: Using the Hi-Fi settings this card produces a crystal clear reproduction of music without coloring. Then there are plenty of effects you can play with

Overall Review: I have a friend with a recording studio, and this sounds close enough for me to his sound card and monitors that cost $1600 using the Asus Xonar D2X and my Klipsch 2.1 speakers my total $350

Pros: Have these on three computers, six in all. No failures in close to a year. I like to play OS musical chairs and try out different things. These make it easy to change drives in your computer and change the OS in seconds.

Cons: The 2 position switch doesn't shut drives off, must pull drives out a bit to disconnect. Not a real con just something to get used to.

Overall Review: This unit is the short verison, great for most cases.
